Being a dog myself, I know how important it is to live in a community where people value animals and treat them with kindness and respect.  When you support the Wisconsin Humane Society, you support:

• Adoptions for homeless animals -- almost 10,000 animals in 2012!
• Veterinary care and behavior help for thousands of homeless animals every year.
• Spay/neuter surgery for animals from families with low income, so there won't be as many homeless animals in the future.
• Vaccine clinics, so animals in our communities stay healthy.
• Fun education programs teaching compassion, kindness, and respect to thousands of kids every year.
• The biggest wildlife rehabilitation hospital in our area, helping more than 5,000 orphaned and injured wild animals every year!
• And lots more.

The Wisconsin Humane Society isn't a government organization and is not connected to any "national" humane society (did you know they are all separate?  interesting, huh?), so they rely entirely on support from generous people. 

And here's our big offer:  my human, Anne, is the brown-haired executive director of the Wisconsin Humane Society and she has promised to GO BLONDE if our team raises more than $5,000!  I am not kidding!  I'm kind of interested to see what she'll look like, so join our team and help make it happen!
