As someone who has always had a passion for animals and their wellbeing, I consider myself blessed to be a part of the Wisconsin Humane Society family.  Going to "work" each day since January 27th, 2007 has been nothing short of incredible.  From the tens of thousands of animals who found loving homes over the past six years, to the thousands of children and adults reached via humane education programming and everyone in between, this organization saves lives!

On January 1st, 2013 this two-campus organization became a three-campus organization when we expanded our lifesaving mission to Racine County.  It is now my privilege to be a part of the transformation of animal welfare in Racine County and I couldn't be more excited.  In the first few months, we've almost doubled adoptions out of the Racine location, provided spay/neuter services for over 200 community animals and provided low-cost vaccinations for over 500 animals- and that's just the beginning.  As a private, non-profit organization, the Wisconsin Humane Society receives no government funding and we are not affiliated with any national organizations (i.e.- ASPCA or HSUS), so our lifesaving work is made possible only by the generosity of private donors like YOU!  Will you consider making a tax-deductible donation to sponsor our Racine-based team and support our lifesaving work?  Your donation of any amount will make a difference.  Thank you for your support!
