I can't wait to get my cone off and run in
the sunshine!

Will you help Charlie?

We wish our little Charlie Bear could talk and let us know how he broke his leg. The little Labrador Retriever puppy is only 5 months old and already he's been through so much pain!

Thankfully, though, his sad puppy cries were immediately understood by our staff, who knew that something was causing Charlie serious misery.

Our veterinarians took x-rays of Charlie's right rear leg, and realized that he had a serious fracture that didn't have a great prognosis. We consulted with an orthopedic surgeon and determined that Charlie's best chance at a happy, pain-free life would be to have his leg amputated.

We are so fortunate to be able to provide surgeries like Charlies' amputation to special needs animals. But we can only offer them because the community supports this extra care. We couldn't do it without you.

Will you make a donation to help Charlie?

Your contribution of $10, $25 or even $100 will go to Charlie's medical care, and to the cost of other animals recovering from injuries, illness, and abuse in our veterinary clinic. You can also sponsor Charlie in honor of a loved one and send a personalized e-card with his adorable photo.

We'll keep you posted on Charlie's progress! When he's healthy enough, he'll enter our adoption program (no holds are being taken for him at this time).

Thank you so much for your support and please keep Charlie in your thoughts for a speedy recovery!
