As the New Year begins, I am once again filled with hope for homeless and hurting animals throughout the Wisconsin Humane Society area. Why?

Your caring and compassion makes it possible for the Wisconsin Humane Society to rescue, protect and find forever homes for deserving cats, dogs, puppies, kittens and other animals.

Last year, your support helped the Wisconsin Humane Society:

• Place 9,499 animals for adoption
• Spay or neuter every animal on-site in our fully equipped clinic
• Care for thousands of wild animals in our Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
• Educate more than 7,000  children and adults, engendering respect for animals
• Offer empathy-building programs to at-risk children
• AND SO MUCH MORE!

But our job is far from over. Hundreds and possibly thousands of pets still need us right now. Some have been abandoned, abused or neglected. Others can no longer be kept by their owners.
