Euthanasia by Injection Training
Milwaukee Campus

The Wisconsin Humane Society is hosting Euthanasia By Injection (EBI) training. The training will be held at the Wisconsin Humane Society Milwaukee Campus, which is located at 4500 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The course intends to provide workers who must euthanize proper and professional training in a supportive and compassionate environment. Whether you have years of experience or none at all, you need to keep up with the frequent changes in euthanasia drugs and techniques, and methods of handling the emotional walls that can build up in even the most skilled technicians. This workshop addresses the often overlooked and underestimated effect that performing euthanasia has on the individual. Learn to identify and handle the emotional impact and stress felt when having to euthanize animals one cares about.

Curriculum is provided by the Humane Society of the United States.
