Please note: This is the start of a 3-day camp. Junior Veterinary Camp runs Monday, July 20 - Wednesday, July 22 at the Milwaukee Campus.

The health and safety of participants in our programs – your children – and our staff continues to be our top priority. To that end, there will be some changes to ensure safety for campers this summer, including:

• Limiting enrollment for each camp to eight students to maintain physical distancing
• Limiting the number of people in the shelter building for other services
• Asking families and staff to abide by a health policy and stay home when sick, exposed to anyone with COVID-19, and/or 14 days after returning from an international trip.
• Increasing cleaning and handwashing at camp
• Moving as many of our camp activities outside as possible
• Requiring all campers and staff to wear masks when inside

JUNIOR VETERINARY CAMP (for those who have completed grades 6-8)

Ever wondered what it takes to become a veterinarian? Dive into the exciting world of veterinary science and discover what it takes to become an animal doctor. Hear first-hand from a veterinarian to learn what they do each day and the skills needed to work with animals. We'll even practice skills in our "surgery station!"

T-Shirts: Camp T-shirts are highly encouraged, but not mandatory for children to attend camps. If you decide to purchase a T-shirt, please indicate the size when registering. All T-shirt sales are final. Deadline to purchase T-shirts for camp is May 15.

Cancellations & Refunds:
Registration fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class, you may offer your registration to a friend of the same age. Please contact the Youth Programs team to notify us immediately. We are unable to issue refunds if your child does not attend. 

The Wisconsin Humane Society reserves the right to cancel classes. In the rare event that this would occur, we will attempt to reschedule a canceled class. If we are unable to do so, or we are unable to accommodate your child in another class, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
