Introduction to Dog Manners - How a dog learns, and why we should care.
 
Don’t miss out on this new seminar at the Wisconsin Humane Society - Milwaukee Campus located at 4500 W. Wisconsin Avenue!

This seminar offers an introduction to positive reinforcement based dog training. This educational talk by our training staff includes a clicker training "demo" with one of our current shelter dogs.  We will discuss common dog behavior challenges and how to manage and communicate with our dogs.  We will touch on many topics including:

 • How Dogs Learn and think and why we should care

 • Canine Development stages and breed differences

 • Positive reinforcement training theory including "clicker" training

 • Equipment helpful in management and training

 • Socialization and Safety including Canine body language

 • Benefits of Group Training classes and what group classes ARE NOT

Please leave your canine companions at home as this seminar is just for the guardians.
