CGC (Canine Good Citizen Testing)

Canine Good Citizen Testing: Started in 1989, CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. Your dog does not need to be a purebred dog to get this certification. Items on the Canine Good Citizen Test include: We offer CGC testing as needed. If you have taken a dog manner's class here at WHS there is no charge for the test. If you have not taken any classes here, there will be a $10 charge for the administration of the test that you can pay on-site.
